I indulged in authentic Austrian cuisine, notably the Styrian specialties, which transported me back to my childhood spent on the beach as I savored the rich flavors that reminded me of local Bahamian dishes. We dined from Thursday to Sunday, and each evening offered an impressive selection of fine wines expertly paired with our meals. The ambiance was inviting, blending rustic charm with modern elegance, perfect for a leisurely dinner. Each breakfast was a good start to the day, featuring fresh local ingredients that made me feel right at home. As a marine biologist, I appreciate the importance of sustainability, and it was reassuring to see the hotel's commitment to local sourcing. Gasthof is not just a hotel; it's a culinary adventure that should not be missed by fellow food enthusiasts.
